great location and pleasant hotel.

Great location and room was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately could not get any early check in. Plenty of places to eat right near by. Great location for access to most places you would want to go. Value for money too.

needs to upgrade airconditioning and would be great to offer a pay for early check-in system for those of us that travelled for more than 12 hours and are desperate for a shower.

Cleaning staff were very good. Lovely bathroom.

Not enough milk left in room for tea and coffee. When you requested additional milk from reception you you weren't treated very well. In general reception staff were not pleasant with the exception of one or two staff. The use of the safe was free but was not fixed to the wall. The furniture in the room was cluttered and made from cheap materials. The main wardrobe was hard to close. You couldn't open the small press fully as it hit off the bedside furniture. Which in turn made it hard to put valuables into the safe. Construction work going on next door woke you at 8pm every morning.

We spent five lovely days in beautiful Nice. The weather was just perfect for us, up to 25*c, we manage to visit Eze, Mo

We liked its location. We were in the city centre close to all amenities, communication was brilliant as tram station was just behind the corner, and train station quick walk away only. And yet we experienced no noises apart from ongoing building next door.

The water in the swimming pool was too hot. Tv wasn’t working, but it bothered us much.

The location was OK.

The room wasn't ready on time, the room wasn't clean, we arrived soaked from a rain storm & they wouldn't allow us anywhere to change, had to use a toilet. Staff were very rude & abrasive. No mini bar as advertised.

Fine stay

The hotel was close to the shops and beach. The swimming pool and sauna were great! Staff was friendly.

There was construction going on next to the hotel. We woke up in the morning to radio and loud construction workers.

Decent hotel in a great location.

The service at the hotel was very nice. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The location is ideal, there is restaurants, shops, tram to the airport is just a couple minute walk away. Breakfast was also decent. Would recommend.

It would have been nice to add a few more essential toiletries, especially for two people. There was only one small bottle of lotion.

Except location of the hotel, everything else was much below what is expected from a 4 star property

Location and location

a lot needs to be done on maintenance side. The phone in the room was not working, drainage of the sink was clogged which were attended to next day after we complained. Though the hotel charges euro 10 per day per person for the one hour usage of the pool and sauna, but the water in the pool was cold during our entire stay of 3 days and we couldn't use it despite having paid for the same while booking (though the hotel claims it's a heated pool). The breakfast spread was very poor besides being same on all three days. No toaster even to toast the bread. Housekeeping was very poor. On day 3, they came to clean the room after 3 pm after our repeated reminders and did a very poor job. Even tea/ coffee/ creamer were not replenished. When we called the reception in the evening for replenishment, we were told that we should have asked this from housekeeping. They couldn't do anything about this at that time. This response was totally unexpected from a so called four star property.

Great location and good value with friendly and helpful staff but in no way near 4 star standard!

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and obliging and the mattresses were excellent. The location is ideal, close to all shops, many restaurants and cafés and transport. The hotel is also very good value for what it offers.

The hotel general supervisor (there is no manager; he has not been replaced since he retired) was very uppity and "lectured" me when I was complaining about our previous evening's request that had not been attended to, on the basis that "they" were waiting for us to wake up when, in fact, we had had breakfast half-an-hour ago. The problem is that breakfast and chambermaid services are subcontracted so she has no idea as to what is happening when. The breakfast lady was very obliging but the coffee and croissants were very poor quality. Also the swimming pool is totally unsafe for a handicapped guest, like myself, as well as poky. The hotel is wrongly advertised as having a restaurant and so offering room-service. There is no restaurant and guests have to order takeaways from local restaurants. Finally, on a slightly fussy note, although the mattresses were great, the pillows were abominable: thin and lumpy.

Overall very good, in excellent location, but breakfast could be made more interesting

Excellent desk clerk called Ali who was very friendly and helpful Cleaning staff very good; bed quite comfortable

Breakfast was a little disappointing - not enough fresh fruit or natural yoghurt Room seemed hot and we couldn't quite work out the way to turn down the heating

2 1/2- 3 star hotel, good location

Good location, friendly & helpful members of staff. Certainly not a 4 star hotel though, more like 2 1/2 stars, 3 to be pushed. There are plenty of good cafes within 5-10 min walking distance for reasonably priced good quality breakfast or lunch. Chose the hotel mainly because of the swimming pool which was easy to pre-book

Facilities in general need a face lift, pretty much everything is run down, furniture & décor are quite "tired". Water in the swimming pool was a bit too cold, no changing facilities by the swimming pool & hotel does not supply slippers. Not surprised we were the only ones in the pool on a couple of occasions :) I think it would be fair to say it is a 2 1/2- 3 star hotel, needs upgrading
